About me:

I am 39 years old and and have been teaching now for over 11 years .  I am married, with two small children, who keep me both enthralled and very busy!  I came acoss the Technique in 1992 and in my first Alexander lesson I was struck by gentle yet powerful experience.  It was as if I had 'come home to myself.'

In fact I loved the work so much, that after a year of private lessons, I started my training in 1994 and three years later I became a member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT). All its members are covered by professional indemnity insurance and complete 1600 hours of training over three years.

Since that time I have had the privilege of studying under the tutelage of the late Walter Carrington and the late Peggy Williams, two of the teachers who were taught by Alexander himself. And of course my own mentor and teacher, Jean Clark, a teacher who really lives by what she teaches.

I have worked with people from all walk's of life, including lawywers, doctors, nuns, house husbands, musicians, actors and children.  I have taught at Paddington Hospital in London, the Haven Clinic (a renowned holistic centre for those affected by breast cancer) and in a Osteopathic Clinic off Harley Street, but now prefer the gentle pace of life that Sussex has to offer me and my family.

It always gives me great pleasure introducing this work to new pupils so if you are considering booking a lesson, please do not hesitate to give me a ring and find out more or drop me an email by clicking here
